The extensive application of power electronics devices in power system,industry,traffic and family brings serious current harmonic, this harmonic pollution harms to system and electromagnetism environment. So Power Factor Correction Technology becomes a new research hotspot. But the traditional analog PFC has some insuperability shortcoming, with the development of the digital technique, more and more control algorithms canbe implemented in power electronics by the digital chips: microprocessors or digital signal processors (DSP). The merits of digital control: simple hardware, no temperature drift,flexible control and easy to realize advanced arithmetic etc, make digital control technique to be used in power supply manufacture to let it more credible and easier to realize in batches with lower costs. In the current it is popular to use digital control in power design.This thesis describes the main characters and development of PFC technology, analyzes the means and basal theory of all kinds of PFC technologies on structure of the main circuit and control mode, and illustrates the necessary and importance of the digital PFC. Studies the work principle and key technology of the Boost PFC circuit in theory, designs a small power digital Boost PFC converter, this converter works in average current control means and based on TMS320LF2407 DSP, adopts current and voltage double closed loop control and PI control arithmetic. We simulate this digital PFC system in Matlab/Simulink and gain the parameters of the system, finally we get the satisfactory correction effect by experiment.The control of PFC is digital control, It brings the advantages of sample circuit,immunity to noise,high reliability and debug expediently. So it is easy to update system with immovable circuit to satisfy the need of variational clients.In the thesis the hot problems and development of PFC technology are analyzed farther. It establishes good foundation for future research.
