| Stabilization is the basic request for power system to safety operation. The power system stability is generally divided into the static and transient stability. Transient stability is the ability that power system can transfer from initial stable state to another new stable state without losing synchronization and safety running in new state when it suffers from a big disturbance. Along with the generator capacity and the scale of power network increasing, it is become more and more difficult to maintain overall transient stability of power system. It is must attempt to improve power system's transient stability in transmission side when enhance the generator excitation control. The power system has very strong non-linearity. Since traditional excitation controllers like PID and PSS are linear which established on power system some linearization model running point. When it has changes, these linear controllers cannot satisfy the request of system transient stability. But the non-linear control theory based on the condition feedback precise linearization which has abandoned that idiomatic approximate linearized model and designed power system controller using precise power system nonlinear model on dynamic process with small and big disturbance can resolve this problem.Firstly it is introduced that traditional generator excitation controllers and elaborated non-linear control theory developed more quickly in resent years, then studied the non-linear excitation controller design on single machine infinity bus power system. After introduced the technical significance and key elements of FACTS, The paper has studied the principles of thyristor controller phase shifter (TCPS) modifying the magnitude and the phase angle of node voltage.Analyzing the generator nonlinear excitation control and TCPS controller, it is proposed the strategy that coordinating the generator excitation control and TCPS control: when there is a fault such as three-phase short-circuits on power system, maintain system's effective power angle to be constant by modifying voltage phase and supporting voltage magnitude of the node where installed the TCPS during the... |
