Nowadays, the brick masonry structure is still a main structural form in civil structures, especially in residential houses. But the research on the theories of the brick masonry structure is relatively lagged, especially on the behavior of the R.C constructional column with cantilever beam in the combined wall structure. The bearing capacity of the R.C constructional column with cantilever beam is not described in the code for design of masonry structures of our country, while the structure is widely used. The engineers have to estimate the bearing capacity by their experiences when they encounter the structure in their works. Of course, this cannot meet the needs of structure design.In this article, by the FEM simulation software ANSYS, the whole behavior of the combined wall structure with cantilever beam and the effects of the different loads on it are studied from the simulation analysises under five different load combinations of gravity and load on the ring beam or cantilever beam. And the effect rules of the rigidity of beam or column on the behavior of the R.C constructional column with cantilever beam is summarized from comparing the sectional vertical axial forces of the R.C constructional column with cantilever beam in one combined wall structure with others, while the rigidity of beam, column or wall is varying. Furthermore, 27 models are designed by the orthogonal table L9(34) when the rigidity of beam or column is varying. Considering the effects of the rigidity of beam or column, the formula is obtained by analyzing their FEM results with multiple linear regression method, which is applicable for the sectional vertical axial forces of the R.C constructional column with the cantilever beam under the loads on one floor. And the formula applying to the structure under the loads on many floors is derived form this formula. Finally, through contrasting the results from FEM analysis with the results of the formula, it is testified that the derived formula is right and reliable, and is valuable for the structure design of the R.C constructional column with cantilever beam in practice.
