Compound consolidated soil is something in which the soil is consolidated very well by right amount of liquid soil consolidater and a little soil stabilizer (lime etc.), and it can be used as the base of road pavement . The application of the technology of compound consolidated soil in road engineering not only can make the road performance too well but also can decrease the traditional soil stabilizer (lime etc.) ,and can also use aboundant soil resources to replace sand ,gravel ,stone etc. in the traditional base of road pavement ,thus the distruction to the environment is lightened too much in these courses of mining limestone , making lime , transporting lime , constructing road base by lime and mining sand ,gravel ,stone etc. ,and it provides a kind of technology method to solve those problems such as longer road construction period .higher road construction cost etc. in nonestbne areas .The technology is of great enviroment benefit and economic benefit , and it is significant for our country's road sustainable development strategies. At present, the application of the technology of compound consolidated soil in the base of road pavement is initial in our country's road-construction engineering . The road function indexes such as unconfined compressive strength , water stability and free-thaw durability etc. are studied with ZL-1 soil consolidater in this paper , and rational proportioning of compound consolidated soil is decided economically , the consolidating mechanism of compound consolidated soil , constructing technique and economic efficiency are also discussed in it . This paper provides an important reference to make the application of the technology of compound consolidated soil much more extensive .
