Research On Urban Planning Decision Support System Based On Data Warehouse

In recent years,the scale of database expand day by day and the quantity of data increase in magnanimity. There are a lot of potential and useful data included in it ,some had been detected and some not . How to use and manage the data effective and how to find potential knowledges in database be put to in front of us.Data Warehouse,Online Analytical Processing,Data mining are new technologies of data management and analysis developing in recent years, the powerful supporting that they give to Decision Support System let they could solve the problems effective which faced by traditional Decision Support System . The Decision Support system based on Data warehouse was the new development stage in Information System research, which not only have power of data processing but also in data calculating and analysis ,reach to the more high level in auxiliary decision ability. In present, with all kinds of data information increased rapidly, the Decision Support System based on Data Warehouse is the good selection in effective analysis magnanimity data and in auxiliary superior manager effective decision.To use Data warehouse in Urban planning Decision Support System ,we need according to decision characters of urban planning decision to analysis concretely and setup Data Warehouse application system conformed itself. This article combine decision characters in urban planning decision and defects in traditional Decision Support system, then import Data Warehouse and relevant technology research, still made research and probe to system structure of Urban planning Decision Support System based on Data Warehouse,after that ,using the theory framework bring up a tentative plan about urban environment planning decision subsystem. At last, introduced some analysis tools and methods.
