Meanwhile, internal architect had been doing many regional explore and got some results which were characterized by terseness in a great measure. As a architect, I felt that I had the responsibility to do some thorough discuss about terse architecture, such as reason of fashion, development, and trend. And I also hope to do some research about the effect which it had done in architectural area in China. I collected the information about the relationship between external architectural cultures and internal's, such as conflict and hybrid, through the ways of reading many references, consulting and particularizing practical project, talking with senior architect, questionnaire investigating, etc. And through the research methods, for example, concluding by typology, comparing in longitudinal and lateral, I wanted to do a further explore about how to deal with the external architectural cultures.The fashion of terse architecture in our country was not a separate and incidental phenomenon, which had many profundity reasons in society, economy, psychology, and other aspects behind it. First, it lied on the effect that the building techniques did to the appearance. Today, due to the development of techniques, the restriction in building sculpt became less and less. So for many reasons, such as the rise of nonobjectivism, the simple tropisms of the masses taste, the different condition of techniques, terse architecture was in tune with the times.From the commonness appearing in internal terse architecture, we could find that the primary difference between terse architecture and forepart modernism architecture was the cognition about the relationship between appearance (scarfskin) and configuration (function), and exertion of material. In recently, the effect of scarfskin was strengthened in terse architecture. So discuss about the variation and recombination in scarfskin and material become the emphases in our study of design methods about terse architecture.Through the systemic trim about internal terse architecture, we got a lot of revelations about how to unscramble architecture in the aspect of methodology. We could finally explore the effect of terse architecture from more aspects and angle, which would arouse our reflection about introducing external design thought, and could mend some shortcoming in our design. By studying the character, source and possible method of realization of terse architecture, the article expounded the changes of thought and action happened in internal architect themselves in the spreading process of that design style.This article was based upon the analysis and understanding about a large of external architecture, which characterized by terse form, and was brought forward it self s thoughts. But as a result of lacking of references and restricting of myself, there was still many insufficiencies. I only hope this article can be of use, and do my best to our architectural industry.
