The Research On Current Collection Mode Between Pantograph And Collecting Shoe

Recently, with the rapid development of urban mass transit, subway locomotive adopts various current collection mode, even in one city different current collection modes exists. Different current collection modes have different applied respects, while overhead contact line system adopted in vehicle section have safety privilege over conduct rail, in the tunnel contact rail power supply mode shows obvious advantages in low construction cost, environment conservation, less maintenance. When the two power supply mode, overhead contact line system and contact rail exist on the same line, the technical problem which has to be solved is the co-existance and interchange of several current collection.After giving a comprehensive introduction of the present state of the interchange methods between contact rail and pantograph of both home and abroad, the paper presents the overall schema of the system which concentrates on how to interchange between two different current collection modes without turning off the power or breaking the locomotive. And then the whole system is designed and analyzed.In this system new type of ground sensor as well as the receiving device for it are adopted, and redundant design is considered in order to ensure the reliability of where to interchange. PLC as the central controller of system improves the reliability and anti-interference capacity of the system.The paper presents an ideal schema for solving the problem of interchanging between pantograph and collection shoes, which has positive influence to our country's metro construction in improving the efficiency and safety of metro operation.
