The reconstruction project of National highway 205 (G205) Shenzhen section starts from Honghu Interchange in south and ends at the boundary between Huizhou and Shenzhen in north with a total length of 37.534Km, which is a core highway of the eastern economic development axle of Shenzhen. Associate with Huiyan, Shenshan and Shengang Eastern Passage structure the radiate artery highways for eastern region of Shenzhen.To make good design scheme research of the highway network joints along this project has the following meanings:Firstly: on the basis of carry out the intension of urban planning and urban traffic planning, stabilize the network joints schemes in time, which has control effect to the reconstruction of G205 Shenzhen section and coordinate with the construction of metro line No3.Secondly: the win-win situation of urban traffic construction promotes city construction can be achieved only when strengthen the integration between the highway network main joints along the line and city planning constructions, to establish a pearl necklace-type land development model, where Shenzhen Metro line No3 as the axle and metro stations as knots.Thirdly: due to the location of this line is on the eastern development axle in Shenzhen, as one of the artery roads in Shenzhen, the joining between G205 and other highway networks also with metro line 3 has a very important position, good design schemes of highway network joints is the difficult point and crux in the design of this project to act as an artery road in urban living.This article aims at the existing problems and limiting factors during the reconstruction of G205 Shenzhen section, uses metro line No3 as the main control factor, the result of forecasted traffic volume as the basis, to achieve and satisfy the urban artery traffic function of G205 Shenzhen section as the foundation, draw up an overall design train of thoughts, the selection of horizontal and vertical design schemes of important sections will coordinate with the overall scheme of metro line No3 through comprehensive selections. For the current situation of existing exchanges, their deficiencies will be analyzed and relevant reconstruction scheme will be carried out: traffic light control + channelize will be used for main intersections, right in right out, closure andcoalescence will be used for minor intersections. Ensures that under the premise of satisfy the traffic function requirement, to reach suitable standards, optimized design schemes, harmonious environment and achieve the goal which will reduce the project investment and maintenance cost.
