With the development of industry and agriculture, transportation methods in the two-phase flow of solid and liquid are increasingly used. In the transportation of the two-phase flow of solid and liquid, the previous impurity pumps, for example, slurry pumps, bedload pumps, Non-Clog sewage pumps and so on are already widely used in the various fields., But in the transportation of liquid with bigger particles or longer fibres, these pumps are easy to clog. These pumps usually can convey particle's diameter about 10%~40% of the pump's inlet diameter. But the vortex pump has a uncommon pass capabily of conveying sewage and serous liquid with biggest solid( the solid's diameter about comes up to the pump's inlet diameter) or twisted and longer fibres, it also can transport the liquid(sewage water) with a multi-phase flow of air, solid, liquid because of the chemical effect and the machine function. The pump's development history is far shorter than that of centrifugal pumps, but the abroad has already been the main variety of sewage pumps and slurry pumps . The vortex pump's basic structural characteristics is that impeller retreats back to a chamber, namely there is a wide shaft-phase space between impeller and front pump casing, this structure creates convenient condition for transportation of solid particles, making the pumps have a better Non-clog performance.This research derives from Yong Yi pumps industry's company in Chengduo The subject combines with vortex pump's latest achievements and make use of secondary development environment based on AutoCAD VB—VBAo The subject establishes the mathematical model of hydraulic design of vortex pump, forming the framework of hydraulic design of vortex pump CAD system o The compiled VPCAD software integrates hydraulic design of vortex pump with drawing, vortex pump's CAD is preliminary carried outoAfter calculating the main geometry parameter of the impeller, we make use of the powerful function in VBA development environment, automatically generating the impeller's 2D engineering drawing? The volute drawing design only needs the user to input simple data then for automatically generation ? In the calculations and graphings process, it adopts the method which integrates automatically done with mutual input .
