Multipurpose Research Of Hotel Space

We all know that hotel is the important public building. The function and connotation of hotel is becoming more and more changed with the development of society and people's mode of life and expense, which proposing some new desire to the hotel space designing.Whether a hotel is designed successful or not, the space fits for the developing function and standard is essential. So what the designer must understand is the people's demand, rule of their behavior, mode of their expense and the development and management of this domain. It is also the most basic principle of designing. This article follows the principle of humanist and bases the demand of customer whom the hotel services for to solute the urgent problem of function and space, draw a conclusion and put forward a feasible plan. The author finds some problems of modern hotel designing and attempts to build a bridge connecting the designer, consumer and manager according to a large analysis and conclusion from whole to part using the existing achievements for reference. In the first chapter the penman puts forward the goal and significance of the multipurpose research of hotel space, " then introduces the domestic and international situation of hotel space designing and submits a few problems of the function designing in our country through the author's practical experiences. We know the summary development of hotel, the evolvement of its function, the progress of new fashioned hotel, people's individual desire and manager's demand etc in the second chapter. Methods like synthesis, summary, analysis and questionnaire are used in this section to undertake the meticulous study of the hotel function. At last the author concludes the desire and characteristic of multifunction. The third chapter gives a reference of varied hotel space designing and enumerates some successful cases centering on the multifunction which the author results some instructional space patterns. The last chapter sums up the necessity and operability of hotel multipurpose space designing, and obtains the principle of hotel multipurpose space designing in keeping with the rule of hotel industry.
