The Study Of Low-Voltage Var Compensating Terminal Unit Based On MSP430

The paper introduced the principle and objective of var compensating firstly, then analysed var compensating with parallel connection capacitor and compared its compensating style, controlling strategy and so on. Based the former research, the paper designed a low-voltage var compensating equipment which satisfy current need. In the hardware designing section, mainly introduced primary modules and some measures for improving reliability;and in the software designing section, introduced the realization of primary software modules and some measures for improving precision. In the end, the paper presented some shortcoming of the equipment which need amending in future. The equipment integrated var compensating, transformer monitoring, energy metering and other functions, and at the same time it achieved high precision and high reliability.
