As we all known, equipped with anti-lock braking system is an important way to protect automotive braking safety. Thus , how to appraise the braking performance of an ABS system becomes more and more important now. At home and abroad, some big companies and enterprises often pave different adhesion coefficient roads and use real automobiles to do experiments. And then a single index called "the utilization efficiency of adhesion coefficient" is used to process the data collected. This way of appraisement is well known as the automobile braking laws and regulations of the European Economic Committee. To do such experiments needs a large amount of manpower and money, so this way of appraisement won't be put into practice abroad.Because of this contradiction, this paper introduces a method for building a Hardware-in-the-loop Simulator of ABS with a real car embedded in the system. This system uses the software of MATLAB/SIMULINK to build models , such as four wheel model, brake system model , tire model, road model and so on. A real car is embedded in the simulation system and some integrated circuits are utilized as the interface between the pc and the ECU of the real car. The system utilizes the theory related to the four wheel model to calculate instantaneous wheel velocity, and then transmits the signals into the ECU of the real car. Then the ECU controls the electromagnetic valve to act, in order to modulate the pressure of the brake oil circuit. Our simulator is supposed to collect the signal of the pressure back, for the sake of tailing after the instantaneous wheel velocity and vehicle velocity. So that the course eventually realize our goal of tailing after the portrait slip rate. After the experiment, this paper utilizes the five indexes of 'based on braking performance' to process the data collected. And the author has proved that using this way to appraise the braking performance is more comprehensive and more reasonable in theory that the traditional processing way.The simulation system is as efficient as pure computer simulation. And the result of the experiment has shown us that, it also inherits the accuracy and reliability of the road test . Because of its low cost and reliability, this technique stated in the paper will have large commercial potential. |
