The relationship of performance, economic and maintenance strategy has beenconsidered in reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) that is on the basis of failure. A kind ofstreamlined RCM analysis method is introduced to this text, and the decision process ofmaintenance for power plant equipment is determined. Some key technologies of reliabilityanalysis, maintenance decision and optimization are studied. PRA techniques are introducedinto RCM analysis. A maintenance risk-cost model is established for global maintenanceoptimization in the power plant and a genetic algorithm (GA) is applied to solve such a modelto get the global optimized maintenance strategy.Maintenance decision and optimization model based on SRCM is put forward throughadequate research in current maintenance situation. The computerized auxiliary software ofSRCM analyses automatically is developed. The advanced computer technology and RCManalytical method are incorporated in the maintenance management of the equipment. Itenables maintenance more propose and efficiency, and will be significant and practical value.
