Electric field computation of valve side winding on converter transformer is main inthis dissertation .The valve side winding of the converter transformer not only withstandesexchange stress, but in its working voltage and the overvoltage has the very high directcomponent, when system happens tidal current reverse, the DC voltage under the valve sidewinding also synchronize reversal. The electric stress is totally different with the exchangestress, it is produced when the DC voltage of long time and the step leap effect convertertransformer. And it decisively influence insulation choice.In earnestly analyses the nose insulation structure of the converter transformer , holdsthe key aspect that influence electric field distribution, establishes the computation model,choice different electronic resistivity ratio to compute and analyse the electric field of thevalve side winding nose under the experiments and the operating, summarize thedistribution rule of the electric field, analyse the rationality trades of the test standard underdirect current pressure at the converter transformer. Calculation has representational, mayguide production and the design of the product, for home-produce of converter transformerto establish the foundation.
