| Lime-soil pile composite foundation is a simple and economical and effective method for treating collapsible loess foundation .Lime soil compaction pile and heavy hammer ramming on surface layer and strong ramming method and lime soil cushion method belong to soil compaction at original place . It has been wildly used in engineering practices. It different from force direction . Because the strength and deformation modulus of pile and soil is about the same , they are called flexible pile. soil and pile work together so that it has achieved the goal of treating soil with soil .Recently ,many Chinese scholar have done much work in treating collapsible loess foundation with lime soil pile . The study of overseas scholar is more active. Some experiments are in broad scale . But we don't see the whole data .So ,in this paper ,the basic behavior of lime-soil pile composite foundation is studied .At first ,by doing laboratory experiments ,the treatment effect of the lime-soil piles that are used to collapsible loess foundation is studied .The index of soil foundation are studied .for example, the change of compaction degree around the single pile ,the change of compaction degree between the piles .The coefficient of compressibility (a1-2), deformation modulus (Es), collapsible coefficient(δ s) around the single pile . The coefficient of compressibility (a1-2), deformation modulus (Es), collapsible coefficient(δ s) between two piles or three piles.The second, after the lime-soil pile composite foundation is soaked over an extensive or in small area, the effect and influence factors and using methods oflime -soil pile in treating collapsible loess foundation for different distance of holes and deferent treating width and different depth and different material of hole filling are analyzed .Finally.the behavior of lime-soil composite foundation is researched by FEM numerical analysis using the basic obtained through laboratory tests.
