Currently, the development of country economy is confronted with two greatness challenges, energy economization and environmental protection. Making use of the energy validly and reasonably is the crux of sustainable development. The Building Cooling Heating and Power Generation(BCHP)system, which can realize the most reasonable usage to the primary energy, is one of the most valid means and the best paths to make use of the natural gas resources. It is very necessary to go deep into the study of Heat Recovery Steam Generator(HRSG), which is one of the important equipments in BCHP system.Depending on abroad comprehension of HRSG in BCHP system, the deep research of a running HRSG system is finished in this paper. Resultantly, the structure optimization is related to the cooling load characteristic. According to some cooling load data about the BCHP system and the standard year meteorological data, the cooling load mathematical model is established firstly. And the period of time about the cooling load characteristic has been got. Simultaneity, it establishes the multiobjective HRSG structure optimization model considering influence of cooling load. It includes the total cost of HRSG investment and BCHP system operation, the exhaust fume windage loss, the exergy efficiency as the optimization objects. The decision variables are the temperature of HRSG exhaust fume, the number of row, the number of tube per row, the horizontal distance and vertical distance between tubes of the evaporator and the economizer. In this paper, some calculation methods are researched, such as thermodynamics calculation of HRSG, thermoeconomics calculation and solution of multiobjective optimization model. It gets the result of the optimal structure about HRSG in the BCHP system, and indicates the reason that the result has no versatility.The law with regard to the structure optimization and cooling load period of time is revealed, and the mathematical justification is finished that the BCHP system accords with thermoeconomic isolation theory. These will establish the basic for deeper HRSG optimization research..
