With the devolopment of national economy and the execution of "big development Plan of the west" those years, people build speedway from Campagna to highland. So we must meet many questions brought by slope besides speedway, those questions can be compartmentalized into two:firest,slope evolves into landslide besause our mistake in construction,design or reconnaissance after a big dig in roadbed;secondly, our design is too conservative,so as the cost is too expensive and it is very difficult to build up. So the project of dealment with the slope besides the road is very important for the whole engineering, so much as to control the speedway's cnostract.The speed way from Chongqing to Wanzhou is being built.The speedway located in the brim of Sichuan basin, and the geologic condition is very complex. It,s composed by Jurassic red Sandy terrane and slimy terrane.which have especial engineering character,and the solpe is very insecure and easy to evolve into landslide.Along the speedway, there are 167 slope,so it become a emphases in the engieering.Refer to the speedway which have been built such as Chongqing- hechuan, Chongqing-qianjiang,Daxian-chong and Chengdu-chongqin G, the author makeduse of the spot investigation, examination,finite element method and stablity anlaysis, and compared the stabity of the 11 slope along the sppedway,and summarize the engieering character , disaster type, this paper is writed.The conclusion is: anti-slide pile and prestressed steel cable is not fit for the the landslide which saturated by water.
