Tibet region is located in the Tibetan pleateu , where the natural conditions are poor.The special geomorphological characteristics bring lots of difficulties for the construction and maintenance of Tibet highway.Building highway in Tibet area,high cut slopes are inevitable meeting. If slope excavation undeserved or supporting and retaining structure build not in time,high cut slopes are very easily become deformation and failure under the action of excavation unloading and rainfall infiltration.The deformation and failure of high cut slope will cause irreparable damage for the highway construction.The deformation and failure of high cut slope has become one of import highway disaster which seriously restrict the development of Tibet highway. We study the high risk side slope prevention in qu shui to da zu ka road rebuild and repair project,which is belong Ching to Nepal national 318 highway ang is from administration center of emphases highway build project in transport department Tibet.We consult some good experience at present in he high risk side slope prevention, and we advance the look-ahead supporting design theory in the high risk side slope prevention ang good manage measure in construction.By site investigation, laboratory test, theoretical analysis and field monitoring,the design principle, applicable condition, mechanism of supporting structure and rock and soli mass of advanced support of high cut slope in Tibet are researched. The research contents are showed as follows.(1)Based on the nonlinear failure criterion,the calculation method of slop limite excavation height with none supporting structure was systematically researched.(2)Adopted damage theory, long-team strength index and stability of high cut slope are researched and the calculation fomula are derivated.(3)Prestressde anchor cable retaining wall is putted forward and the design principle is described.(4) Described the mechanism and side resistance distribution law of advanced support anchor of high cut slope.(5) Based on the design principle and construction technical requirement,the advanced support of high cut slope is applied in the engineering practice.The research result of this paper can provide guiding role for the design and construction of high cut slope of Tibet highway. The research result has wide application prospect.
