Structural reliability is to study the safety question of structural under stochastic factor .Applying the reliability theory to solve in intensity, stiff, and stability of structural .The reliability of concrete gravity dam has been analysis by stochastic finite element method in this article. The intensity and stability of concrete gravity dam is to study, and the stability against sliding of the dam foundation's surface is to check analysis by the method of mechanics of materials .Applying finite element method and programming subprogram to study distributed regularities of concrete gritty dam's stress and strain. Considering the material parameters and the load changeability, the reliability of intensity and stability for the concrete gravity dam is researched with the method of Monte Carlo simulation. The influence of its variation to the reliability index is discussed when the upper level and the elastic module of dam body and the elastic module of bedrock and the uplift pressure etc are random variables. And the influence to the reliability index is done as well as the condensational force against sliding and the friction coefficient correlation.
