The energy crisis and the environmental pollution have made us aware of the fact that the decline of nature would finally cause human being to have similar fate. Based on environmental pollution and the relationship between human being and nature, we come to draw a conclusion that architecture, also should have sustainable development. Most traditional shallow-plan buildings are well-ventilated, and can gain natural light directly. They can provide us an interior space of high-efficiency but low-consumption. In contrast, deep-plan buildings can not provide us such comfortable interior environment just with the regulation from epidermis. Generally speaking, the latter ones are not good at providing good environment for the communication between human being and nature. This point can be illustrated with theories of geometry. Deep-plan buildings, if designed strategically wrong, would become "monster for energy".Under this condition, the author tries to introduce and analyze the architectural Chamber Design in deep-plan buildings. Firstly, this essay summarizes the major problems collected with deep-plan buildings, and based on some previous research work, with the enlightenment from Morphological Bionics and Architectural Bionics, it puts up with architectural chamber and other terminologies, summarizes some common characters of architecture chamber. Secondly, it analyzes both the nests of termites and architectural forms of some Western churches; it demonstrates the possibility and feasibility of the solution for the biological problems in deep-plan buildings; it analyzes the natural elements of the architectural chamber strategy, such as wind, light, water, ground-source heat and so on. Last but not least, it classifies Architectural Chamber as three space forms, namely, wind entrance, yard and atrium, and analyzes them respectively. Based on the above analysis, the author puts forward the ecological strategy of Architectural Chamber in deep-plan buildings. The result of the research not only has active meaning in ecological aspects but also offers, by all means, endless resources for the architects in their architectural creation.
