Study On Design Of Underground Urban Complex

Underground urban complex is a new architectural type. It appeared with that human attached importance to underground space. The most important characteristic of underground urban complex is that the principal part of complex is underground. This characteristic lead to other speciality shortcoming and development of the complex.Beginning with the general situation of the underground urban complex, after introducing the utilizing of urban underground space, this thesis focus to design method of underground urban complex. By studying the design method from layout of space to inside design of complex, the thesis summarize the efficiency way to design of underground urban complex.Shanghai is one of the cities in China that on a high level in utilizing underground space. Thesis depict the evolution of underground urban complex in shanghai. Taking People Square and Jing'an Temple area for example, thesis also analyze what's the demerit now and what's the developable aspect later, and give a reference to other cities in China of underground urban complex constration.
