Temperature is one of the main loads of mass concrete during construction period, so simulation analysis of temperature field for mass concrete is a very important research subject. By means of the FEM, the 3-D simulation of temperature field for mass concrete with cooling pipe is systematically implemented in this thesis. With a new thermal-fluid analysis method presented, the 3-D simulation analysis of water pipe cooling for the temperature field of mass concrete is feasible. The main contents are as follows:1. The calculating principles of temperature field and the advantages of the FEM to simulate temperature field are summarized.2. The thermal parameters of temperature field in concrete are back analyzed with the analytic method and the finite element method, with the instances are proved.3. Several kinds of algorithms with cooling pipe in mass concrete are summarized at present. The new thermal-fluid method is put forward on this foundation, it is proved feasibility and veracity with instances, influence effects of several factors about the water pipe cooling are analyzed.4. In this paper, according to a scheduled table of construction, considering concrete hydration heat changing with the age, the initial temperature of concrete, water pipe cooling, concrete surface protecting warm and wet, external temperature etc synthetically, with the equivalent method and thermal-fluid method used, one concrete arch dam within whole construction period is simulated, the distribution of temperature field and rules of development in construction time of concrete arch dam are summarized, some beneficial conclusions are drawn.5. According to the results calculated by the equivalent method and the thermal-fluid method, the numerical example shows that the prosed the thermal-fluid method is feasible and effective, and the results are reasonable, the important reference is made to calculate the water pipe cooling for the temperature field of mass concrete in project practice.
