There are many methods for subway construction in the city. Seldom of them was built with "cover-excavation consequent operation". In this paper, on the basic of the special project - the construction of Science Building Station of Shenzhen Subway, the first Subway station built with the "cover-excavation consequent operation" method, the job practice and the importance and difficulty of the skill was introduced thoroughly.For the practice of "cover-excavation consequent operation" method, the setting of the temporary road and the controlling of ground subsidence is the key to ensure the project going on smoothly. For the subway station construction method discussed in this paper, new type of temporary system- military beam system was used. At the same, during the construction period, the stress sate of the deep footing groove maintenance and the subsidence of the nearby building, the ground and underground pipeline was measured, and the data was analyzed. Using 3-dimension finite element numeral analysis software, the subway station construction process was simulated. The research result showed that: (1)3- dimension finite element numeral simulation results is comply well with the construction measurement results, which means that numeral method can provide a scientific direction for the construction process, and also realize the verification of the two research method.(2) In the deep footing groove maintenance construction and, the pole pressure in the soil near to the top of the ground, with the going on of the excavation process, will increase gradually. The pole pressure in the soil far away from the top of the ground, with the going on of the excavation process, will decrease gradually.(3) For the "cover-excavation consequent operation" subway station construction method, by reasonably designing the support parameter and nearby soil enforcing measurement, the subsidence of ground and nearby building can be controlled within the permitted range.The successful practice of "cover-excavation consequent operation" method showed that using locale measuring and numeral simulation methodcan find out the stress of the surround rock and soil and working state of the enforce system, and provide the basis of construction planning, consummate design. At the same time, it also can give out the prediction of the end distortion, make judgment of dangerous condition, and realize dynamic and informatization construction.
