Logistics industry is the fundamental industry of the national economydevelopment. Logistics is still a developing industry in China. Collection andDistribution Centre is typical feature in logistics, which is the most important partof logistics system. Logistics industry is in the phase of emerging. It is veryimportant to study the planning of Collection and Distribution Centre when theyare being built in China. The Planning involves with building investment,economical benefit, enterprise operation, management, manufacture safety and soon. Reasonable plan of Collection and Distribution Centre can reduce buildinginvestment, decrease logistics cost, improve production efficiency, promote level ofmanagement and obtain economical and societal benefit.As the nodes of transportation system, Highway Collection and Distribution Centrecan collect and distribute material and realize the function of transportationorganization and management, transfer, assemble and deposit, communication,production assistant, which play the important role in joining each part oftransportation system together, optimizing system efficiency and service level andimproving the benefit of transportation industry. Collection and Distribution Centrecan meet the needs of economy integration, the development of socializationproduction and show the trend of society and economy development. Withincreasing of society production and circulation scale, building and developingCollection and Distribution Centre has become an urgent and important task.Collection and Distribution Centre building consists of hardware system, softwaresystem and information system construction, which is a complex systematic project.Combined with MOC west traffic science and technology project Study on theApplication Technology of Collection and Distribution for Trunk HighwayTransportation, this thesis focus in the operation plan of software systemconstruction .The fruit can provide theory and method for design andoptimization of work flow in Collection and Distribution Centre at present in China.Conclusion and achievement of this thesis is as follows:(1)Put forward classification means by which Collection and Distribution Centersare classified into six groups. According to operation and function of collection anddistribution centre, it can be divided into collecting centre, distribution centre,storage centre, delivery centre, transfer centre and material processing centre.(2) Basic idea of investigation of assignment flow is to decompose Collection andDistribution Centre into material handling, bill processing, settlement and keepthese process as synchronous as possible by using of concurrent engineeringtechnique and storage management and vehicle assignment adjustment. Identifyingbottleneck process and satisfying customer service so to make the flow easier andachieve optimization.(3) Put forward IDEFO to model Collection and Distribution Centre workflow.Operation and management of Collection and Distribution Center is a verycomplicated system. It is impossible to research them directly. This thesis choosesIDIF, which is used to model complex manufacture system, to model workflow inCollection and Distribution Centre.(4)IDEF modeling idea is applied to the logistics centre. According to fieldinvestigation, keeping material handling, bill processing, settlement synchronous,build model of workflow in the logistics centre. The reason for choosing themethod is that IDEF module is fit for workflow characteristic in Collection andDistribution Centre.(5) Optimization of workflow in Collection and Distribution Centre is a singleobject decision problem. Analytical Hierarchy Process is used to evaluate becausethe workflow in Collection and Distribution Centre has attribute and hierarchymodel which Analytical Hierarchy Process requires. Index system of evaluation ofCollection and Distribution Centre has been built.(6)When evaluating with Analytical Hierarchy Process, weigh vector computingconformity test make use of Matlab software.According to actual demand of express freightage system building and relying onbuilt Collection and Distribution Centre, this thesis utilize and integratetransportation resource, improve technique level and economical benefit ofhighway transportation system and unite applicability and advancement. During thewhole transportation system development, design and construction of Collectionand Distribution Centre has been a bottleneck which restrict healthy and rapiddevelopment of society and economy in a certain extent. To achieve the object ofefficiency, applicability and regulation and put advanced operation pattern inCollection and Distribution Centre into effect, it is necessary to investigate theoryof Workflow modeling in Collection and Distribution Centre. It is of significanceand value to develop Collection and Distribution Centre.At last, summarize thesis and give assumption which need to be further studied.
