To achieve precise and reliable computation results of the coupled aerostructuraldesign optimization of wing, the model integrated with the shape,layout and size optimization of wing structure is introduced, which is conduciveto reflect the influences of design parameters on aero-structural design of wing.Based on the model, the framework imparts traditional concurrent subspaceoptimization algorithm and the Pareto genetic algorithm in system leveloptimization. And the entire design process is driven by Matlab in order torealize the automation in computation.1,The tool for automatically generating the geometry and inner structure ofwing is introduced: This tool can generate the wing geometry and inner structureusing CATIA Automation in order to provide the model which is needed in theanalysis of aerodynamics and structure, when given the parameters describingwing.2,The automatic procedure for structure analysis and optimization isintroduced,including grid meshing,bounds restraining,force loading,solving and optimizing. The entire procedure was running by PCL language developedby MSC.Patran and Nastran, which is driven by Matlab. In the procedure, theload transfer from CFD grids into FEM grids by principle of conservation and thedisplacement is interpolated form FEM grids to CFD by IPS. And Matlab canabstract the displacement, stress and weight of wing from the analysis results.3,The automatic procedure for aerodynamic optimization is introduced, usingthe batch, scripts for GridGen and CFX, and the entire procedure is driven byMatlab too.4,Integrating the procedure for the analysis and optimization of aerodynamicsand structure, the framework of aero-structural optimization can optimize thewing coupled the aspects both of aerodynamics and structure analysis with thehelp of concurrent subspace optimization algorithm and the Pareto geneticalgorithm in system level optimization.
