In China, medium and minor highway bridge applying simple-supported beam with continuous deck-pavement has been usually constructed in order to promote comfortability of driving car. However, during mechanical analysis this mechanical model has been usually applied the style of simple-supported beam without continuous deck-pavement so that there are some deviation between calculated result and actual state, particularly earthquake response analysis which has only analyzed to part of whole bridge such as 3-5 span bridge has been done. In addition, the shock absorption effect of rubber bearing is so largely better than that of other bearing that this bearing has been usually applied in design of Highway Bridge. In this thesis, based on the condition such as flexible pier, continuous deck-pavement, simply-supported beam, laminated rubber bearing, pile-soil interaction and so on, the mechanical model has been erected. Then the combination stiffness formulas of columnar-pile type pier and laminated rubber bearing have been derived from which the thrust stiffness formula of columnar-pile type pier and the sheer stiffness formula of laminated rubber bearing have been derived. By means of inverse iteration method, the step of which multi-stage frequency and mode shape in the whole system have been calculated has been given. Finally, the earthquake force formulas of the whole system including piers and bearings have been constructed. On the basis of the theory, the software of earthquake force calculation that it is so convenient to use that the user acquire the earthquake forces by means of inputting initiative data has been made using visual basic program. As the same time, the sofeware had been confirmed by the example of engineering and will be applied in the practial earthquake forces calculation of bridge design.
