Westen Landscape Design Thoughts And Influence To China Since 1960s

In the development of western modern landscape, 1960's was a milestone in the history of landscape. The theory of ecology, architecture and art had influenced the ideology of western landscape design, accordingly brought different trend of thoughts. Ecology theory brought Ecology Ism Landscape Design;Post Modernism Landscape, Deconstructionism and High Technology Landscape had come out in the influence of Architecture Theory;and so the Land Landscape and Oversimplified Ism Landscape had come out in the influence of Art Theory.Today, the world civilization have a abroad communion, multiform trend of thoughts of western landscape design have been brought into China by kinds of form, so brought new blood to Chinese landscape design. These thoughts or genres have made a for-teaching influence to the thoughts of China landscape architecture, and especially brought new trend of thoughts like ecology technology, terrain culture, contextual communition, environment art, new technology and so on.This paper mainly studied literature and investigated the spot. The trend of thoughts of western landscape architecture design sincel960's have been studied symtemically, and analized the society and trade background of Ecology Ism, Post Modernism, Deconstructionism, Oversimplified Ism, Land Art and so on, which were studied and summarized the history and main characters at the same time. Through investigating the spot, Chinese up-to -date landscape design which were in the influence of western landscape architecture design since1960's were studied. Five representation examples like Funan River Park in Chengdu of Sichuan Province, Qijiang Park in Zhongshan of Guangzhou, Yongning Park in Huangyan of Zhejiang Province, Xujiahui Park in Shanghai, Suzhou River Park-Mengqingyuan in Shanghai have been investigated in spot, and Haitian Rummery of Qingdao and Haiwan Park which were not constructed have been depicted. These examples or projects have been analyed from design style and considered that these examplesimpenetrated some design theory and technique of western landscape design ideology, some background have been procured relative to Chinese tranditional landscape in ecology technique, terrain culture, art represent and so on, which worth while advocating and studying.The paper hoped that through studying the western landscape architecture design thoughts of 1960's and Chinese up-to -date landscape design which in the influence of the ideology could afford some new references and advance the development of landscape design forward more rational direction.
