High-rise Structure is very sensitive to the role of the structure of the earthquake. Follows the high increase of the High-rise Structure, the vertical seismic effect on structure is more obvious. This paper to High-rise Structure has carried on the preliminary discussion about the vertical seismic computational method. According to current High-rise Structure characteristic, the computation model of High-rise Structure were predigest to multi- particles series connected system through some assumptions, and we can make the dynamical equation about the High-rise Structure and utilize the different computational method to carry on the solution.This paper adopted the finite element method to calculate vertical seismic response of the host tower body of the 610-meter high Guangzhou New TV Tower, which is the background engineering of this paper. The 450-meter high host tower body of the Guangzhou New TV Tower has innovative structural form and complex structural system, the structure is not the pure steel structure or the concrete structure, but is the composite structure which two composes. Using the large-scale finite element procedure ANSYS, this paper analyze the complex and the unreasonable structure under the vertical earthquake, has obtained the host tower body structure distortion and the stress characteristic, proposes the reference for the design work.
