At present the internal force calculation of foundation shoring about mostly aims at calculation on single-layer shoring. With the construction and development of industry, railway, highway, especially the construction of large-scale factory workshop, for many machine equipment foundations have different burying depth, sometimes the foundation of factory workshop should be treated with multi-grade shoring and excavated step by step, in this way engineering quantity of excavating and backfilling earthwork can be reduced. But at present, the design of multi-layer just cites the design methods of single-layer shoring in our country, not taking the influence of higher-level on lower-level into account At present there is no mature and systemic calculation method about soil pressure, internal force, displacement of multi-grade shoring all over the world.In this paper calculation formula and model of soil pressure of multi-grade shoring on deep foundation pit have been deduced from the classical coulomb calculation theory for soil pressure. In addition to my practice in Guangzhou—a foundation pit engineering example on multi-layer shoring of a large steel factory workshop, the data in engineering example has been brought to calculation formula of multi-grade foundation pit which has been deduced. Analyzing the result showed see that there is some influence of higher-level shoring on lower-level, and there is close relation with the excavation depth and platform width., this paper introduces the construction technics of deep foundation pit excavation for multi-grade shoring structure system relating some example constructions and offers a calculation theory and experience to the similar construction.
