Multi-ribbed Slab Structure, as a new structural system showing good structural property, is very potential. Multi-ribbed composite wall panel is the main bearing member in Multi-ribbed Slab Structure. The research about its seismic performance is important to for the development of theory about Multi-ribbed Slab Structure Recently;the nonlinear static pushover analysis has been becoming popular as a simplified computer method for evaluating seismic performance of structures, hi its essence, the nonlinear static pushover analysis is a kind of statistic calculation method. In brief, one of simulating lateral inertia forces is put on the analyzing model and is enlarged step by step till the structure gets into a predetermined state. During the procedure, the yielding elements are then relaxed to form plastic hinges and increment of lateral load is increasing until a nonlinear static capacity curve is created. The curve is calculated in terms of lateral top roof displacement and total lateral force at the base of the building. The nonlinear static pushover analysis can briefly predict the behavior of the structure under the lateral force and find out the appearance sequence and the distribution of plastic hinges, so the weak points of the structure and failure modes are found out. hi the thesis, the procedure of the nonlinear static pushover analysis on different Multi-ribbed composite wall panels has been put into effect. The main work has been completed as flowing:1. The study of the theory of the nonlinear static pushover analysis has been done.2. A simplified calculation model of rigid frame with diagonal strut is proposed, which is used for the nonlinear static pushover analysis. A formula determining the effective equivalent strut width is proposed.3. By the means of ETABS software, the procedure of the nonlinear static pushover analysis is completed, and the results are analyzed and compared with the result ofexperiment.4. The procedure of the nonlinear static pushover analysis on different Multi-ribbed composite wall panels has been put into effect. The factors which affect mechanical properties and failure modes of the wall panel are discussed and some practical advice for the design of Multi-ribbed composite wall panel is proposed.
