Abstract/Summary:
The raw water of Baotou Drinking Water Treatment Plant is taken from the Yellow River by pumping. For the exisit of the strong taste and odor of the effluence, this paper focus on the differentiate of the category of the matter of taste and odor, and on the monitor of the quanitity of this matter and ananysis why there are the taste and odor matter in effluence.By long time monitoring the water qualitity of the ground water, this paper gain abundant digital. By the way of adopt advanced OLSA equipment we enchriment the trace concentration of pollutant in raw water and using GC to determinate the concentraton of these pollutants. We analysis the relativity of the families and amount of algaes , the concentration of dichloramine and the degree of taste and odor.As shown during the test, the COD is 4.50mg/L. The influent NH4+-N concentration is 3.50mg/L The water temperature is ranged 1℃ to 2℃. The TP concentration is around 0.05mg/L. The color of raw water is about 18 degree. All of this number decret that it is micro-contaminated water body of the raw water in Yellow River. And by monitoring the water quatity of the lake, we get the knowledge that the total algae number is 3.2 × 107/L, and the dominate family of the algae are cyanobacteria, euglenaceae, fragilariaceae. The concentration of dichloramine in effluent is ranged 0.115mg/L to 0.400mg/L, and in 76.9% conditions, it is super the TON of dichloramine, 0.15mg/L. The MIB concentration is ranged 29ng/L to 102ng/L and it is 3 to 10 times of the TON of MIB. The concentration of TCA is 13ng/L to 59ng/L and it is 2 to 9 times of the TON of TCA. The concentration of Geosmin is ranged 20ng/L to 65ng/L, and it is also 2 to 6 times of the TON of Geosmin. The concentration of IPMP is 9ng/L to 38ng/L, and it is 4 to 19 times of the TON of IPMP. Especially, the trace concentration of IBMP is not found.Using O3 total removal of Geoamin ranged from 35% to 65% and removal efficiencies of MIB is lower than Geosmin. And using PAC, total removal of IBMP, IPMP, MIB, TCA and Geosmin is 100% in initial stage.
