The whole procedure of cable and membrane structures' analysis is composed of three parts. The first one is form-finding analysis. The aim of this part it is to find a satisfying tensioned surface under the equilibrium between cable force and membrane stress. The second is loading analysis. Based on the found form, it is expected to get the strain and stress of cable and membrane structures under the loads. The last one is cutting pattern analysis, which generated the number of membrane block and the cutting method.In this paper, finite elemen method of form-finding and loading analysis are derived, visual FEM programes verified by some classic strutre model.Secondary, with a simple and classic membrane structure model, the effects of foundation displacement on the upper membrane structure are analysed. Emphases are put on the prestress loss in membrane structures and membrane element's stress accretion and stress reductions.In order to put the results of theoretics analysis into the engineering practice, the auther discusses the anchor foundation design, details design, erection and so on. Finally presents some methords how to reduce the displacement and constructive suggestoions to remedial measure .
