Research Of Membrane Structure Building's Shape

Membrane structure was known in the middle of 20th century. Compare to other form, membrane structure is advanced at beautiful shape, legerity structure, huge space, economy, saving energy;and structure design become more and more important as the membrane structure put the structure design in the first step.In order to do some research on membrane structure, I choose the shape of membrane as the topic. Firstly, I summarized the history and sort of membrane structure, then analyzed the theories of shape design of membrane structure. Secondly I evaluated the aesthetics of membrane structure basing on the theories and the particularity of membrane structure. At last, focusing on the particularity of membrane structure, I calculated and analyzed the possibility of the shape of membrane structure, found the basic units of membrane structural shape, then studied the possible combination of these basic units and their capability and application.Based on the research, I hope to provide guidance and auspice on membrane structure design to advance the development of membrane structure.
