| Along with the development of economy and the progress of urbanization, the dwelling houses in modern city have a rapid development. During the past time, people would pay more attention to design the public space or private space. The transition space which is between public space and private space was ignored for a long time. This paper tries to carry on introspection to the space design of modern living space and analyses people's demands of living space based on psychology, behavioral science. This paper wants to discuss the design of transition space from theories such as flexible boundary, defensible space, domain space. Under these principles, this paper tries to draw a conclusion of optimum and innovative process to design the transition space as to do some good to the building of healthy houses. Because of the complexity of living space in modern cities, the research object of this paper was limited to the transition space of single building in congregant resident. This paper is divided into four parts. The first part is introduction. I give out the discussing object and point out design problems that existent in the transition space. The second part includes chapter 1 and chapter 2. They explain related concepts about transition space. The third part includes chapter 3 , chapter 4 and chapter 5. They analyze how to optimize the transition space, then inducing several design forms, concludes homologous design principle. Further more, I gather two kinds of innovation design forms of the transition space and puts forward the homologous design principle. The fourth part is summarization. It gives a perspective to the congregant resident in our city about the design of transition space. |
