It's very important to study the visitor's travel path and time-space distribution for planning and flow managing in the World EXPO. Researches in this field are little in the world, much less in the large-scale exhibitions like World EXPO. The objective of this research is to provide quantitative methods for analyzing visitors' travel path and time-space distribution to support the planning and flow managing. This is a preliminary study using the theories and methods which are frequently used in consumers' behavioral in commercial spaces. We collected the data from visiting survey on the World Expo 2010 by internet, set up the discrete choice model, analyzed the characters of the factors and the mechanisms how the factors affect the visitors' behaviors. Finally we simulate one-day visiting in the EXPO, taking the discrete choice model as a core, to study the features of visitors' time-space distribution. The method can be applied for comparison the different time-space distribution caused by different exhibition layout.
