With the development of permanent magnet materials, the rare-earth permanent-magnet synchronous motor (REPMSM) should be applied more and more widely because of its excellent efficiency, such as: high power density, low runcost, good reliabilityand efficient of conserving energy etc. This topic aimed at developing CADsystem for REPMSM.Based on collection the discipline tendency in the domain of electrical machinery CAD, studying the design characteristic and method of the rare earth permanent magnetism synchronous motor, researching the essential technology of electrical machinery electromagnetism design process (magnet steel loses magnetism question), proposed a REPMSM's design and optimized algorithm which suits computer calculates. The CAD system programmed through C++ Builder 6 language, which is visual and has the OPP. This CAD system based on Engineering database, run on the platform of Windows, which used the object-oriented programming method and modularization design technique , gather the function of motor design, performance forecast, structure chart output. Contact surface is friendly, easy to operate, this CAD system can complete the design of Motor electromagnetism effective.In this thesis, the planning and the realizing of this CAD software will be introducted, some important tecnique in the software develop will be studied, such as database , graphics assistant, optimization methods.Through an example, the CAD result is accorded with the experimental data, shows the reliability and practicality of the CAD system.
