At present, with the development of industry, better environmental protection is needed by the people around the world. We are thinking much of the development, when we begin to attach importance to pollution and environmemtal proctection. On the other hand, our government has tightened up the management to avoid pollution. Also, a green production plan is being carried out. Power plant, a main energy consumption enterprise, is one of the most primary pollution sources. To get rid of the harmful gas, such as SO_x and NO_x, becomes more and more important. According to my real work, the dissertation will study the safety and economy character of a FGD (flue gas desulphuration) system.During the period of 2x330MW thermal power machines' project design and technical innovation, a FGD system was taken into account. To satisfy the national standard (SO_x: 450mg/Nm~3 dust: 50mg/Nm~3), the efficiency of desulphuration should reach 95 percent and the efficiency of delime over 75 percent. While the FGD equipment has a high requirement to the operation of boiler, its safety function and economy function restrict the choice of FGD system.This dissertation analyzes and discusses several kinds of commonly used FGD technology successfully running at present. We take the limestone - gypsum aqueous method FGD technology as a choose emphases and carried out the safty analysis. Through this analysis, we discovered some problems which existed in the FGD systems. Then the optimized solution one by one in the newly power plant has been worked out. This project finally chose the technology from German FBE Corporation(original German Steinmuller Corporation). After the digestion absorption limestone - aqueous FGD system, the first cost will be controlled with the satisfaction of safety requirement.
