The researches on Finite Element Analysis of contact problems inchina and abroad have been reviewed. The contact problems in ceramicball bearing have been analyzed. The FEA parameter method fit for theceramic ball bearing design has been put forward, and this paper pavesthe way for the future ceramic ball bearing design and analysis.Because the traditional method has assumed that the contactinterface is an ellipse plane in calculating contact stress, and projection ofthe ellipse plane on the ball surface in calculating frictional force, thesolution of contact stress and frictional force is lack of consistency. FEMis a good method to solve contact question. But the 2D methods wereoften used to analysis the contact problem of bearings, and the methodscan't be used to describe the 3D distribution of contact stress and 3Dcontact interface. For the design and analysis to certain problem, theparameter method of 3D contact FEA using Delphi and MSC.Marc hasbeen presented on the basis of contact model of spherical surface to planein this paper. At the same time, the traditional Hertz contact theory andanalyses of experiments are used to prove that the FEA parameter methodused in the paper is feasible, which shows The FEA parameter methodcan improve the efficiency of solving some problems. On the basis of spherical surface to plane contact problem analysis, the complicated contact problems in the hybrid ceramic ball bearing areinvestigated. The parameter method that is used to construct the complexFinite Element Model is presented. Furthermore, The FEA parametermethod has been calculated and feasible.
