Hybrid ceramic ball bearing is used for its advantages like smallacentric force, large rigidity, small friction coefficient when lubricate isinefficient and so on, but its design has not been perfected. To providedata for hybrid ceramic ball bearing's design, people use computerimitation substitute experiment, which bring convenience to ceramic ballbearing design.The author analyses contact of bearing with FEA software-ANSYS,Hybrid ceramic ball bearing contact is a question of multi-solid contact,material nonlinear, geometric nonlinear.To predigest problem, the author developed from easy to difficult, anduse theory study,FEA and experiment to test each other. The author startwith contact of ball and plane, makes FEA model, and makes materiallinear analysis and material nonlinear analysis, and tests with Hertsanalysis and experiment, from which proves that the FEA model iscorrect and it's necessary to make material nonlinear analysis. After that,the author construct FEA model of contact of ball and curve , and verifyits correctness with experiment.
