In this paper, the elementary knowledge of Diagnosis in Rotating Machine Faultwas introduced and the time frequency analysis methods which were commonly usedalso were introduced, the detailed research analyzed one kind of new time-frequencyanalysis theory -Hilbert -Huang Transformation (HHT), in view of its vertex question,proposed the improvement algorithm, and application of Hilbert-Huang Transform tothe Diagnosis in Rotating Machine Fault was provided. Theoretically explained Hilbert-Huang Transformation when the vibration signal in time-frequency analysis superiorplace, and its in diagnosis application principle, method.Base on the analysis of the theory, through one entire set of rotor which sets upbumps touches fault signal gathering, the analysis system, passes through the massiveexperiments, obtains the classics bumps touches the fault signal. Decomposes the signalwith EMD which the processing experiment gathers obtained arrives, then carries on theHilbert transformation, obtained the signal time-frequency characteristic, explainedHilbert -Huang transformation bumps in rotor sound of something astir touches faultcharacteristic withdraws aspect has even better effect.
