The Study On The RBD Planning Under The Background Of The Urban Renew

The improvement and promotion of urban living quality are of paramount significance in urbanization. RBD, as a harmonious combination form of recreation and commerce, has been the focus of people's concern. City RBD is the environmental space which bears the weight of city recreation and commercial conducts, and its shaping, evolution and development influence urban structure, recreation environment, commercial pattern and city characteristics, and what is more, modulate the living form of city dwellers indirectly. This dissertation focuses on the RBD planning under the background of the urban Renewal. It makes a probe into the theories and measures of RBD planning, aiming to find an optimum approach which strikes a balance among economic, social and environmental benefits. After systematic generalization and assorted comparison of various RBD planning under the background of the urban renewal, constructive ideas and suggestions for improvement are presented. The concept of RBD is quite new in its research and practice in China. The study in this dissertation may be initial. The purpose of the dissertation is to find a set of operating measures to fit the RBD planning as well as providing reference for the RBD in China.
