The steel staggered truss, which is a new structural system, is economical, applied and high-efficient and so on. This structural system has been studied theoretically all over the world and applied into some actual projects. But the research about spatial interaction , which considers deformations of floor and slips of shear connectors of the staggered truss system, is not enough. So, the paper develops it fartherly and the main researches are outlined as follows: (1) Based on the study of the design method of the staggered truss, some methods and advices about elastic design, which include choice and appliance of material, section style and standard of components and desigh method of floor, pile, truss and shear studs slips, have been suggested. And also some notes on manufacturing and installation of the struss have been proposed. (2) Under horizontal loads, the integrity spatial models of staggered truss system are set up. The models consider 12 cases, including different stories and story height, different, different bay length, different truss span and different configuration of floor slab. Based on established spatial models, the differences of lateral displacement of different stories and comparative lateral displacement of two stories caused by different conditions, including stiff floor slab and elastic floor slab without considering slippage, and stiff floor slab and elastic floor slab considering slippage, has been analyzed. Based on thses analysis discussed aboved, the influences with the change of different parameters, which are caused by the deformations of floor and slips of shear connectors of the staggered truss system, are analyzed. (3) Under vertical load, the non-linear finite element models of steel truss based on ANSYS together with floor slab are set up. Based on etablished models, simulative elements of concrete floor slab, upper chord and lower chord of steel truss, shear connection member are discussed. The two connection cases between floor slab and steel truss are analyzed:. In addition, under elastic connection and rigid connection, the differences, including the deformations, axial forces of web elements, slippage values and the distribution of cracks on concrete slab, are discussed.
