As the increasing of high rise building quantity, the significance to resist wind load is also becoming big, specially the large-scale complex structure massively constructing, including the extra-high building, the ultra great span bridge and the greatly cross spatial structure and so on, the structural design assumes much high and flexible. It is a realistic and significant topic to guarantee structure security maximally. The sluggish damping absorption of shock technology is a new vibration-proof technology, can provide the big damping to the structure, reduce the structure displacement and acceleration responding in a large scale, enhance the resistance against the wind, it also has convenient installment and reliable performance. Electro-Rheological(ER) fluid is a kind of smart material. Electrorheology mainly focuses its attention to exploring the viscosity, modulus and yield stress of ER fluid under different levels of the applied electric field. This article unifies the theory and the experiment, look research object as the two-course construction damping board based on the structure finite element computation principle and the response analysis. Analyze the theoretical model and the principle of work of different damping board theoretically, design and manufactures the different type of damping board. Namely uses two different thickness sandwich plate, inside which full of electro-rheological fluid to reduce vibration because board rigidity and the oscillation damping can be increased. It can be discovered that electro-rheological fluid not only has damping effect, also has the rigidity effect under the function of electric field in outside. The findings indicates that it will provide valuable reference for the structure vibration control theory.
