Research On Test Technology Of Security And Stability Control Equipment

With the fast development of power system and the stepwise realization of power market, the problem of large-scale power grids stability becomes more complicated. And this makes using Stability Control System(SCS) in power system become a kind of trend. In this case research and development of SCS develop quickly. But if SCS has some mistake and defect after put into use, it can't work normally and even will bring the hidden danger to power system. So research on the test technology of SCS has become a kind of urgent need. The corresponding research is still at the starting stage and further research work is necessary. During the development of Security and Stability Control Equipment (SSCE),the author analyses the relevant theory of power system stability control and the Characteristic of SSCE ; researches into the test technology of SCS ; puts forward a scheme of universal, practical test equipment. The test equipment designed according to this scheme has been put into use successfully. It not only has the advantages of less time, less cost, convenient testing, but also can be increased new function according to user need. Also the scheme of test equipment is a good reference for research and development of similar test equipments.
