In cytophysiology research field, it is an important content to measure [Ca2+]i in living cells in various physiological environments. The fluorescent microscopy system based on fluorescence inspection technology finds a wide application for speed and unhurt. In foreign countries, mature fluorescent microscopy system and corresponding software have been launched, for example, EPC10 and PULSE+FURA-Extension of HEKA Company. But in China, the corresponding research or product is still vacant. Considering this case, we have developed an application software which is based on Windows operating system. Several functional modules have been designed according to the experiment for measuring [Ca2+]i. The application can fulfill the automation programmable operation for the process of measuring [Ca2+]i in living cells. The application makes use of the object-oriented programming method. Its frame and interface are based on Document/View system of MFC. Using the above advanced method and technology improved developing efficiency greatly and featured good reusability and maintainability of the software. Verified by the experiments and testing, this application features the ease of use, friendly interface and clear function. If the application with hardware can be improved constantly and be up to standard of their kind in foreign countries, it will hold a broad foreground.
