Research On Sustainable Development Of Highway Traffic Safety

Highway traffic safety is an important society problem as it relates to social each section. It has significant theoretic and practical value to research on highway traffic safety from sustainable development and then discusses countermeasures to prevent and decrease accidents.On the backgrounds of researches inside and outside country, this paper introduces sustainable development in highway traffic safety and analyzes its necessity. Based on highway traffic accidents in China, applying the method of theory analysis and statistics contrast, this paper points out the serious road and highway traffic safety situation; and based on the analysis of highway traffic accidents in different areas and different standard highway, this paper summarize some general characteristics. From the point of view of sustainable development, with the traffic accident chains in " person, vehicle, road and management "system for main line, this paper analysis the influence of "person, vehicle, road and management" on sustainable development of highway traffic safety, and analysis harmonious relations of environment and economy to sustainable development of highway traffic safety. And then according to influence factor analyzes of sustainable development of highway traffic safety, this paper sets up index system to evaluate the system of sustainable development of highway traffic safety, and probes into concrete evaluation index and evaluation method; Finally, in order to reduce highway traffic accidents and improve the overall traffic safety levels, this paper gives a safeguard system for sustainable development of highway traffic safety from "person, vehicle, highway technique and management".
