The Study Of SRD Based On IPM

The Switched Reluctance Drive system is a new motor drive system. Switched Reluctance motor (SRM ) has many good features such as simple structure, reliable operation, low-cost and high efficiency. SRD, which SRM is used as main body, has merits of better performance and economic indicator. It not only attracts more and more attention, because of its excellent speed regulation characteristics, but also shows competition in commercial applications.The following is the main content of this thesis. Firstly, it introduces structure and application of SRD system, representing operating principle of the SRM. Then it introduces power circuit, controller, coherent design and features of IPM. Apart from the general introduction, this thesis focuses on an 8/6 , 7.5kW SRM based on IPM, selection process of IPM is introduced in detail, and IPM interface circuit is designed.TMS320F240 made by TI company is adopted as the core device for the controller, which generates PWM adjusted by digital PI algorithm. PWM signals and rotor position signals are combined to control IPM. The modular programming is adopted in design to make the source code universal and readable. Finally, tests are successfully made on the basis of the whole design.
