Through the past decades, people have done a great deal of experiment research on single jet and have got abundant datum, while have not done much on the flow characteristic of multiple jets. In recent years, with the development of industry, the appliance of multiple jets is more and more, in many engineering technique branches all have many jets problems, for example rocket and jet plane in avigation, steam pump, steamer, firebox in dynamical aspect, mixed equiment in chemical engineering, jet component in autocontrol, as well as jet incision, water power digging, public fire fighting, water irrigating in agriculture, ventilated air condition and so on. Many flows in hydraulic engineering are jet type, for instance the water work building underpour, linking up and energy dissipation of downstream flow.In circumstance engineering , near area proliferation analysis of letting dirty,letting hot and letting gas is an important theory of the directing appliance of jeting theoretics. Thus, it becomes more and more needed to do embed research on flow characteristic of multiple jets.On the base of free turbulent jets in infinite space, the paper does theoretical analysis and experiment study on incompressible single jets and multiple jets in finite space. The experiments consist of two parts:1 Single circular turbulent jetVelocity of flow in different conditions is measured via changing exit runoff, then its changing rule along axes is summed up, Velocity distributing on transect is also studied.2 Multiple circular turbulent jetsOn the base of Single circular turbulent jet, Multiple circular turbulent jets are studied, including: (l)In finity space, we research on five holes jets in equity space and "1" array situations separately, summarize basic rules of orifice and then have subareas; (2)The distributing of velocity of two holes and fourholes which are equal on bore canister is studied, using hengquan reservoir bore canister energy dissipation model.
