The Design And Realization Of Navigation Line Editor System Based On COM Technology

The thesis stems from the subject of "Navigation Line Editor System of Navy based on ENC". The system embodies an application of ECDIS in the field of navigation line planning and demonstrating, which managers the lines in layers and administrates them in digitals.This paper brings forward a thought of implementing the kernel technique of ECDIS based on COM principle, aiming at resolving the problems of former ECDIS, such as bad platform compatibility, low efficiency o f development and difficult to update. At First this paper takes a deep discuss about the theory of COM, including the overall analysis of character, structure and realization.Then a t otal analysis o f t he e ngineer i s carried out a nd t he s cheme o f t he system is designed. As a result, the Windows OS is taken as the OS platform and ATL is taken as the development tools. In order to accomplish the system, the application technology is also worked over.In the process of developing, in order to test the language-independent character, programming on Visual C++ and Visual Basic is adopted. After some work of code compiling and debugging, the task is totally completed. As a result, the development of the whole system goes smoothly and system functions are effectively achieved.Finally, based on the practical work and achievements in the course, a conclusion is drawn and a prosperous view is made in the future development of ECDIS. At last, the thesis predicts that its developing trend will improve the performance of ECDIS thoroughly.
