High precision FOG is the important part of guidance system.It is based on Sagnac effect and senses the differece of clockwise and withershins photic distance,so the angle velocity sensor is mesured. It's short worming time light weight,maintenancefree, reliability,wide dunamic range.low powerconsumption and low cost make it widely used in both militny field and traditional field. Because all of above,the scientific researches and experiments on it became hot topics in recent years.FOG's basic principle and recent development in this country and abroad are firstly introduced in this paper. After analyse the main factor of infect precision of FOG in detail and merit and restriction of all kinds of complimental method, this paper bring out all-digital close-loop project based on ramp wave modulating and demodulating technique.Secondly,TI's new-generation high-speed DSP is successly used in this system.Many practical and high-efficiency filterand digital signal processing technology are widely used in the hardware and software design of this system,so the precision of signal processing is greatly improved.In the end,the FOG's DSP system is tested together with the fiber system and the performance and result of test are also given.The result shows that ideal precision is reached.Above all,this system has very high practical value and is the foundation of high precision FOG using DSP design.
